Demetri Evan Martin (born May 25, 1973) is an American comedian, actor, artist, musician, writer, and humorist. He is best known for his work as a stand-up comedian, being a contributor on The Daily Show, and his Comedy Central show Important Things with Demetri Martin.
Martin was born on May 25, 1973 to a Greek American family in New York City, New York, the son of nutritionist Lillian and Greek Orthodox priest Dean C. Martin (now deceased). He grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and has a younger brother named Spyro.
Martin graduated from Yale University in 1995. During his time there, he wrote a 224-word poem about alcoholism as a project for a fractal geometry class, which became a well known palindromic poem. He was also a member of the Anti-Gravity Society, whose members juggle objects on Sunday evenings on Yale's Old Campus.
Although Martin was accepted into Harvard Law School, he went to New York University School of Law after he received a full scholarship. Martin withdrew from law school before the start of his final year, opting to pursue comedy over finishing his Juris Doctor.
I Can may refer to:
"I Can't" is the second single from American female hip-hop artist Foxy Brown's second album Chyna Doll.
"I Can't" was released on March 2, 1999 in the United States. The single was unsuccessful, receiving little airplay on urban radio stations and little video rotation on MTV, though it was slightly more successful on BET. It became her first single to miss the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Track Chart at number 61.
The single featured a sample of the song "Everything She Wants" by the pop duo Wham!.
"If I Can't" is a song by American hip-hop artist 50 Cent, released as the fourth and final single from his debut studio album, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003). The song is one of four on the album to be produced by hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, with co-production from frequent collaborator Mike Elizondo. Musically, the song describes how 50 Cent believes that "if I [he] can't do it, (referring to anything), it can't be done".
Upon its release, the song was a reasonable commercial success: However, the song did not match the commercial success of the album's three previous singles, only peaking at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, where the three previous singles had all peaked within the top three, and also peaked in the upper regions of several national charts, most successfully in the United Kingdom, peaking at number ten after being released as a double A-side with the G-Unit single "Poppin' Them Thangs".
Released in 2003, it reached #76 in the USA becoming 50 Cent's sixth Hot 100 entry, but nonetheless his weakest charting single at that time. It also peaked at #10 in the United Kingdom as a double A-side with "Poppin' Them Thangs (G-Unit). The song was written by 50 Cent and produced by Dr. Dre, with co-production from keyboardist Mike Elizondo.
"If I Can't Have You" is a disco song written by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb in 1977. The song initially appeared on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in a version by Yvonne Elliman, released in November 1977. The Bee Gees' version appeared a month later as the B-side of "Stayin' Alive".
The song later appeared on the Bee Gees' compilation Their Greatest Hits: The Record. The remixed version was released and remastered in the compilation Bee Gees Greatest in 2007 and marked the return of the Bee Gees to the US Hot Dance Tracks charts after 28 years. According to Maurice, this track was the first song they did while they were recording the other songs for the film. The recording was started at Château d'Hérouville as a basic track only and completed later at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles.

saturday night fever o/ só achei com a versao da yvonne Elliman... entao aki vai cos bee gees o/ Lyrics: Don't know why I'm surviving every lonely day, when it's got to be no chance for me. My life would end, and it just don't matter how I cry my tears of love, a waste of time. If I turn away, am I strong enough to see it through? Go crazy is what I will do. If I can't have you, I don't want nobody, baby. If I can't have you. Ah ah ah ah. Ah. If I can't have you, I don't want nobody, baby. If I can't have you. Ah ah ah ah. Can't let go, and it doesn't matter how I try. I gave it all so easily to you, my love, to dreams that never will come true. Am I strong enough to see it through? Go crazy is what I will do. If I can't have you, I don't want ...

(What do I want to go out for?
There is no point
I'm out already
There's nothing out there anyway
It's all in here
There's little bits out there
There's you and me sometimes
And I walk up to a forget-me-not
And I smile
Whilst you're breathing the macro
Looking to the distant hills
And wandering in wonder
I'll point out Saturn
And you'll tell me
The chemical formula
Of nitrous oxide
It would be a disillusionment
A grand disappointment
For all our friends
Not to see us in love again)
If I could, I would
If I can, I will
